Hey, all!
I hope everyone is having (or HAD) a great summer. It has been a while (and a very busy year) and now I finally have some CD updates and other news to share.
IMAGES OF EDEN- Rebuilding The Ruins to be released by Savvy Muzik and Nightmare Records- I am very proud to say that Rebuilding The Ruins is now completely finished and scheduled for a co-label release --- Nightmare Records will handle the retail, physical distribution of the CD along with Australian label, Savvy Muzik, who will handle the worldwide digital release & Australian/ New Zealand physical release of the CD. Savvy will also handle a good portion of promotion including TV/ motion picture placement, etc.
I am also proud to say that we had the privilege of working with Grammy-nominated producer, Eric Zimmerman (Fates Warning, Buck Cherry, Deftones, Suicidal Tendencies, etc.) who handled the mastering of the CD.
The official "street" date for Rebuilding The Ruins will not be until February 22, 2011 but you can pre-order your copy of the CD today. Just follow this link- http://www.imagesofeden.com/RTR-Pre-Release.htm
Music Video/ Single for "Tribal Scars"- We just finished shooting a video for our upcoming single, Tribal Scars. The video should be completed approx. mid-October for an immediate release alongside a 3-song single to be available digitally on Savvy Muzik. We will keep you posted.
Coincidentally filmed on 9/11, the song is about and dedicated to all war veterans who did not return home, or had the misfortune of returning home but brining their wars home with them. We will also be including video footage taken by Barb Brown (Diamond Films- www.diamondfilms.biz) of a tribute memorial service she filmed for one of our fallen heroes, Corporal Jonathan D. Porto, USMC. Rest in peace, brother.
Title track of "Rebuilding The Ruins" to appear in indie film- Independent film company, In Play Films, is shooting a series of 5 high profile indie films to be released at Cannes, Tribeca, London & Miami indie film festivals next year. They have selected the title CD track, Rebuilding The Ruins, to appear as the soundtrack for one of their short films. Details are still being worked out. More info to follow.
